The beauty of this shoot is not only in the collaborative creativity of the design or our STUNNING model Sophie - but in the fact that a bunch of boss mom's from Kona Hawaii who run full time wedding vendor businesses (and chase around toddlers at the same time) simply KILL it at their craft. I loved seeing the sparkle in everyone's eye as we worked together and watched the golden Hawaii light bring our design dreams to life. 
My favorite touches were the fresh white roses strung into hoop earrings, and the dangling orchids from the mossy limbs all by the amazing Ki (Hakus By Ki)

And of course the dreamy and flawless makeup by the incredible Grace (Grace Makeup Artistry) (Grace is the one who brought us all together for this shoot!

When you first see this location- you don't think "classic Hawaii" and that's why I love it. The big island is so diverse in its topography. This is "kaloko" -a region at 4500 ft elevation on the volcano "Hualalai" -( it is the backdrop to Kona and many of the residents live on its slopes) (You can drive 20 minutes from the beach- up the mountain to find this fairy land) 
Sophie, this stunning part time model is a full time high school teacher (isn't she is a straight up “Wakandan” warrior queen from Marvel's Black Panther?) 
We did two different looks on this shoot- the first more bridal and light- and the second more dramatic with the royal reds and golds.
